The murders were reported at the Cutter's house, which was hand-built (by Herb Clutter), it was built in 1948. The clutter's house is a two story house. the land is known as "Rier Valley Farm".
The land is approximatley 7 acres. It has 5 bedooms and 3 bathrooms and a 1,700 sq feet basement.
The house was sold, after the investigation an book at the staggering price of $275,000.
